This Lancer GLXi sedan had been on the road not long before. Then it sat, the battery went flat, and the registration lapsed. It was a complete car with nothing taken off it, it just was not going anywhere under its own power.
That situation stalls a lot of sellers. Getting it running means a battery, possibly more, and putting it back on the road means paying to relicense it, all before anyone can even test drive it. None of that is needed to sell to us. A car that will not start is still a whole car, and being whole is what holds its value.
