This 2008 Ranger XLT is a double cab with the 3.0 litre turbo diesel and a five-speed manual. When the owner got in touch it was not running, so it was going nowhere on its own.
We had it collected from Redwood within an hour of the call. Not every pickup can happen that fast, but when we can get there the same day, we do. A car that will not start is often blocking a driveway, and the sooner it is gone the better.
Utes, vans and light trucks are as welcome as cars. A complete vehicle still carries its value when it will not run, so a non-runner is not a reason to accept less than it is worth.
