Cash for Cars in Timaru

Timaru is South Canterbury's biggest town and a long way from the Christchurch buyers. That distance is exactly why many Timaru sellers struggle to get a fair offer for an old or damaged car. We make the trip. DEOL buys cars, vans, utes and trucks in Timaru in any condition, collects them free and pays you on collection.

What we buy in Timaru

• Scrap cars that are dead, rusted or not worth repairing
• Cars that have failed a WOF or have lapsed rego
• Non-runners with engine, gearbox or electrical faults
• Accident-damaged and insurance write-offs
• Vans, utes and light trucks, including work vehicles from Washdyke

Complete vehicles are worth the most. If parts are missing, tell us when you ask for a quote.

How pickups work in South Canterbury

Timaru is about 160 km from Christchurch, so we plan runs to South Canterbury rather than coming down for a single car at short notice. When you accept an offer, we confirm a pickup day with you and stick to it. Collection is free, and we pay you when we load the vehicle. We cover Timaru city, Washdyke, Gleniti, Highfield, Marchwiel, Pleasant Point, Seadown and Levels.

Straight to the buyer

There is no sign-up with us and no auction. We are not a website that collects your details and sends them out to a list of wreckers. You send the plate, we look the vehicle up and call or text you with a cash figure. If you accept, the people who quoted you are the people who collect the car.

• No listing fees and no commission
• Nothing taken off for collection
• We complete the NZTA change of ownership for you

Start with the quote form. If the car has been in an accident, our wrecked car page explains what we look at.
